I joined an English band organized by Madeline Reeder on a tour of many of the towers on the eastern seaboard in October 2017. I made a video of the trip, and used it as an opportunity to explain the exercise to the unininiated.

Please feel free to share and use it if it proves helpful in explaining what we do to the muggles.

My apologies to the Rochester band, for forgetting that your bells arrived after Alexandria's, which I refer to in the video as the newest tower. I can't now go back and edit that without deleting the video and re-uploading the new version, so the fix will have to wait for the director's cut.
