Please join us in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia, from September 16th to 20th, 2026, as we celebrate the 90th anniversary of the installation of our original eight bells. Over these five days, there will be a mix of ringing activities—tower and handbell ringing for all levels, from beginners to seasoned ringers. We will also offer small-group seminars on ringing skills and tower management, giving everyone a chance to learn, share, and connect.
This year we have arranged for Andrew Slade (Chairman of the Association of Ringing Teachers) to come and teach the ART Module 1 on how to teach bell handling. This course will be on Tuesday September 15, the day before the AGM starts. This is the perfect opportunity for those of us engaged in recruiting and teaching beginners. If you are thinking of making a longer holiday out of it, this is the perfect opportunity. You might take a scenic journey on the Rocky Mountaineer or set off on an Alaska cruise, with sailings from Victoria or nearby Vancouver.
The heart of our time together will be the Annual General Meeting itself on Saturday, September 19th, after which we will have our customary special dinner.
