Dedicated to the people who stood up for democracy in Beijing in June of 1989 and made the ultimate sacrifice in this cause. This is the thirtieth anniversary of this event. We especially want to recognize Wei Lou, brother of Laura Lou. Wei Lou gave his life for this purpose.

Rung on the back eight, in memory of Nicki Clarke, beloved wife of Robin Clarke. Nicki was a member of the Guild since its inception in 1997, when the bells were installed. She rang the 10th for the dedication service, the same bell as Robin rang for this quarter peal.
