Pittsburgh Ringing Course

The course is aimed at those working on improving their skills at ringing on eight bells, concentrating on ringing basic eight bell methods well: Plain Bob Triples, Grandsire Triples and Plain Bob Major.

 Prerequisites are

• Comfortable ringing Plain Bob Doubles or Minor, or Grandsire Doubles.
• Comfortable hunting on seven and/or eight.
• Have rung at least two tower bell quarters (on any number of bells), including at least one inside.

Before attending students will be expected to come up to scratch on at least the theory of both Plain Bob and Grandsire, including calls.
