We have training days one Saturday a month from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Our next training day is January 22, with another planned for February 26, 2011. Experienced ringers are invited to help teach plain hunt, beginning methods and new ringers. All ringers are welcome, but please call ahead.

We are hosting the annual regional Tower Festival April 28th through May 1, 2011. This year's festival is named "The Southern Cross Ringing Festival" in honor of Miss Marie Cross, whose instruction at towers in Houston, Texarkana and Little Rock created a lasting legacy in this region. Aka the "3, 4, 5, etc" Tower Festival, activities include a ringing course April 28th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and April 29th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Alan and Kathryn Hughes of Whitechapel Bell Foundry will be in attendance. Alan will conduct a bell maintenance class Friday, April 9th.
